An Alien Exercise in Soundlessness

An Alien Exercise in Soundlessness is a branching poem written in collaboration with Ivars Šteinbergs for the Latvian poetry celebration as part of European Poetry Festival.

Starting with a Latvian language text written by Šteinbergs, the poem was translated into English by Kinty Rogers. Using the idea of translation as a medium, the text was shifted into multiple branches, teasing parallel meetings out of the original, that exist on top of each other.
